We are seeking a lawyer with 2-8 years of experience who is committed to a challenging legal practice to advance social justice issues. Experience in the areas of labour law and human rights law is strongly preferred. Experience conducting hearings will be considered very favourably. In addition to research and hearing preparation, the position will involve hearing work and drafting legal opinions and arguments. The successful candidate must have strong research skills, the ability to write clearly, analytical, and strategic thinking, and strong oral advocacy skills. Candidates must be members of or eligible for membership in the Law Society of Alberta. Salary range is between $92,000 and $160,000.
