The mandate of the Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance Section is to:

  • Address the needs and concerns of the LBGTQ members within the association
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and action on legal issues relating to sexual orientation and gender identity
  • Encourage LBGTQ lawyers and their supporters to actively participate in the work of the association
  • Develop and provide continuing legal education and other professional development programs on legal issues relating to sexual orientation and gender identity
  • Develop member services relevant to LBGTQ members of the association and their supporters
