Inns of Court
The Inns of Court is a program of informal discussion and "dining out" on topics of great interest to junior barristers. The Alberta version of the Inns of Court follows a program based on the English tradition of dining with senior practitioners and judges. The Alberta Branch, the Junior Lawyers Section of the CBA Alberta Branch and the Edmonton Bar Association are proud sponsors of this program.
Each program is held with a group of 20 junior barristers. A discussion on a particular topic is led by four distinguished members of the bench and bar. A formal presentation lasting approximately one hour is followed by an informal dinner (with one presenter at each table of five attendees).
Inns of Court events take place semi-annually each spring and fall in Edmonton. For more information about upcoming programs, please contact:
