To our community, we regretfully announce the passing of J. Patrick Peacock K.C., our Past-President of the Alberta Branch and National of the CBA. He passed away peacefully at his home in Vancouver in his wife Virginia’s arms with his family by his side on December 4, 2022. He was an influential and vibrant member of the Canadian Bar Association and will be dearly missed.
Mr. Peacock practiced as a trial lawyer and regulatory counsel for over 50 years and received a large number of recognitions of his abilities from legal professional organizations. A model of professionalism and civility, his presence and renowned sense of humour were welcomed by his colleagues, adversaries and the judiciary alike.
Our hearts go out to Peacock family at this difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts.
