We are seeking a lawyer with 2+ years of experience who is committed to social justice issues. Experience in the areas of labour law and human rights law is preferred. Prior experience conducting hearings will be considered very favourably.
In addition to research and hearing preparation, the position will involve hearing work and drafting legal opinions and arguments. The successful candidate must have strong research skills, the ability to write clearly, analytical and strategic thinking, strong oral advocacy skills and a desire to run hearings.
Candidates must be members of or eligible for membership in the Law Society of Alberta.
