The Women Lawyers’ Forum was launched in Alberta in 2007 as a platform to support the advancement of women in the legal profession by providing networking, mentoring and resource sharing among junior and senior women practitioners.

Given the high rate of attrition of women from the practice of law, our mandate is also to explore and develop ways to reverse the trend and to enhance the stature, influence and advancement of women in law.

The Women Lawyers’ Forum hosts seven meetings each year, with the possibility of additional meetings, including topics such as the popular “Hot Tips from Hot Mentors,” a reception for female Q.C.s and new female judges and mentoring success for professional women.

Join the Section to take part and connect with women in the profession.
