I have been practicing family law exclusively since 2010. I spent 7 years at the Family Law Office, a program of Legal Aid Alberta then started Latitude Family Law LLP with 4 partners. Our boutique firm continues to focus on family law. I am also a mediator and a Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer.

Michelle Karasinski
Biography
Michelle has been practicing primarily in the area of family law since she was admitted to the Bar in 2012. She has also been a CBA member since she was a student at the University of Alberta Law School and is also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). She feels that the CBA is a great chance to connect with people and learn about important issues in practice. Outside of law, Michelle is involved in community theatre and enjoys spending time with her family. In 2024 Michelle joined the Family Resolution Counsel team at the Edmonton Law Courts and continues to find value in her CBA membership for networking and legal education.
